A long-term repetition effect was found for studied items judged "new" (Misses > CRs) in the same time window as the FN400, but with a posterior distribution. Finally, a centrally distributed masked priming effect was visible between 150 and 250 msec and continued into the 300-500 msec time window, where it was topographically dissociable from the FN400. These results suggest that multiple neural signals are associated with repetition and potentially contribute to recognition memory.]]> Wed 11 Apr 2018 15:28:11 AEST ]]> How did you make me do that!?: circumventing the activation of persuasion knowledge in consumers, with fluently processed semantic associations https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:22032 Wed 11 Apr 2018 12:45:58 AEST ]]> The movement advantage in famous and unfamiliar faces: a comparison of point-light displays and shape-normalised avatar stimuli https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:18299 Tue 05 May 2020 10:01:17 AEST ]]> How to form a group: effects of heterospecifics, kinship and familiarity in the grouping preference of green and golden bell frog tadpoles https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:29028 Litoria aurea, are attracted to conspecifics and form schools. We conducted two choice experiments for captive breed tadpoles of this species to test their grouping preferences. Tadpoles preferred to aggregate with conspecifics to heterospecifics of a sympatric species; however, when conspecifics were absent they preferred to aggregate with the heterospecifcs than to remain alone. Tadpoles also preferred unfamiliar kin to unfamiliar non-kin conspecifics, but had no preferences between unfamiliar and familiar siblings. Once widespread in southeast Australia, the green and golden bell frog has suffered considerable declines and local extinctions in recent decades. Susceptibility to chytridiomycosis is likely the major threat for most remaining fragmented populations and the major challenge for reintroduction programs. The strong gregarious behaviour of this species may affect disease dynamics, especially chytridiomicosis that continues to threaten remaining wild populations.]]> Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:31:06 AEDT ]]> Antecedents of tourism destination reputation: the mediating role of familiarity https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:22819 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:15:23 AEDT ]]>
